Jaguar Mk VII 1954

This car was re-imported from New Zealand in 1993. Immediate improvements to the car included:- minor repairs and partial respray, leather and interior refurbishment. Subsequent improvements include:- Stainless Exhaust, overdrive Gearbox, Mk lX power steering, reconditioned 4.2 litre (XJ6) engine. (original available), twin HS8carburettors, higher ratio rear axle, front disc brakes, front seats from Daimler XJ40 complete with operating electrics, facet fuel pumps and a manual choke conversion.

The car was used by the Motor Industry Research Association (MIRA) for the re-enactment of the opening ceremony at their 50th Anniversary celebration. More recently, the car has been re-commissioned by The Splined Hub and passed an MoT test November 2022.
